ULTRA-UPDATE!

This is for any body still even cares to come by anymore, or have given up on us, for our super long hiatus. Thank you for coming back if you did. I might close up Project SofD since Scasm started a new ulzzang project . (Ulzzang is some kind of modeling thing, look it up for more info). But, I wont shut down the blog, and will continue posting here. I’ll change the name and everything, but I’ll still rumble and ramble, but now I can go as off topic as I want! I still have to discuss this with Scasm, but here is her new Tumblr for her ulzzang business. (oh yeah, she goes by tsumetai-yuki now, it’s her ulzzang name). http://tsumetaiyuki.tumblr.com/

Please stick around, I’ll try to make it worth while!

I’ve Been Tagged!

Annie (http://anniesmirror.wordpress.com) tagged me in this, tag game thingy, so, yeah!

The rules:

  1. Post the rules.
  2. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post.
  3. Create 11 new questions to ask the people you’ve tagged.
  4. Tag 11 people and link them to your post.
  5. Let them know you’ve tagged them!

OK!

1. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A Pokemon Master. Seriously. I threw countless pennies into wishing fountains, pleading for my rebirth into the Pokemon World.
I probably would have chosen a Charizard…
But since I’ve realised that probably wont happen, I grew interested in video game development. I really wanted to work for Nintendo. (I still kinda do…)

2. If you could have anything happen by the end of the day, what would it be?
Probably have my father win the lottery. That would be lovely. 😀

3. If you could wake up anywhere tomorrow, where would it be?
2000 years in the future. Woudln’t that be amazing :O

4. What do you think is the best quality a person can possess?
I really like it when people are understanding.

5. What is an important lesson life has taught you?
I’m to young to answer this question right know. So far, the most important “lessons” Iife taught me were in my classes at school and from my father and his various lectures.

6. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
Back to number 3, I would like to live far in the future. Or maybe far into the past…

7. Are you happy?
Sometimes, but even then I’m not sure if that is what happiness actually feels like. o.o I guess not…?

8. Do you have a prized possession? Why is it important to you?
Internet connection! There is no need to answer why!

9. Are you working towards a goal? What is it?
I guess so? I mean, I feel like I am, but I’m not sure exactly what it is…?

10. Have you found Wally/Waldo?
Yes, I have found him in every page in my Where’s Waldo book.

11. Have you hugged someone today? If not, you should. Hugs are awesome!
No 😥

Thanks for including me, I don’t have a lot of friends on WordPress, so I kind of have to be the buzz kill and not tag 😥 (Actually I have no friends here T_T)

Discontinuing Confessions of an Amateur Photographer

BAI-BAI UNPRODUCTIVE SECTION.

Taku’s Photoblog Public Release

A few months back, I made a tumblr. I don’t know why, I just did.

Now I want to put it to good use, and so I made it my personal photoblog.

“Gasp! What will become of your part on this blog!?”, you ask?

Don’t worry, I’ll still post photos, reviews, musings, other written pieces and the like. My tumblr will only be photos, and next to no words. This will remain my main posting site, and I will post collections, shoots, and series here. My tumblr will just be one picture per post.

Confession #2. It’s the Photographer, Not the Camera

When my interest in photography first sparked, the number one thing on my priorities list was to get a Digital SLR camera. You know, the big bulky ones the pros carry around strapped to their neck while a 30cm lens pokes out in front. I started saving up for one, with the idea in my head that I could never take an acceptable picture with a “measly” point and shoot.

But fate had something else in mind, as Scasm decided to lend me her point and shoot when she found out I was saving for a camera. I happily agreed. Sure, it’s not bulky, but I guessed it would do for now. Scasm told me that she might let me use her SLR for a shoot some time in the near future and I pissed my self with excitement.

The Lovely Lady Herself

It’s been more than a month since she lent me her point and shoot, and I love it. I’m getting better and better, and I’m well adjusted to using a point and shoot. And to sharpen my newly found point and shoot potential, I ventured into the internet to find tips and tutorials on how to take great pictures with a point and shoot. After all this, I began to realize that it’s not the camera, it’s the photographer. If you have a good eye for photos, and creative mind abundant with ideas, as well as a steady hand, you could take masterpieces with even a disposable camera.  What’s a fool, with the latest, most expensive equipment? Nothing.
